What do I wear to my session?
Depending on your style and what type of session you book, I will work closely with you on finding the best outfits to capture your vision. I provide Pinterest boards upon request to ensure you feel inspired.
How many photos do you deliver?
Though I snap tons of photos during your session, not all may be print-worthy. I pride myself in delivering quality over quantity, but a typical 1 hour session will yield anywhere from 60-100 photos (or more if conditions allow and I feel like being an editing overachiever). The amount of photos you will receive from any given session may fluctuate, which is why I never like to give a definitive answer. I firmly believe that any photos of quality should be a part of the package, which is why I do not charge extra for additional photos for any full length session. If you’re looking good, they’re making it into the gallery.
Will my photos be posted on social media?
Only if I have your permission! I absolutely love what I do and always marvel at what we create together, and find every session to be so share-worthy! However, I only wish for my clients to feel comfortable, so I will never force someone to allow me to share their photos.
Do you have a studio?
I currently rent a room in Raymond, NH, but I’m open to exploring other rental spaces!
What is your turnaround time?
Regular sessions tend to take up to 3 weeks, while more intricate sessions such as weddings and elopements may take up to 3 months. Galleries with highlight videos may take closer to 1 month to deliver, but I may send a few sneak peaks with how excited and impatient I get.
How long have you been a photographer and videographer?
I’ve had a camera in my hand since I was old enough to understand how to work my dad’s old camcorder. As far as photography, I started as any other 10 year-old with a cheap digital camera—taking pictures of my feet and unsuspecting clouds. Altogether I would say I’ve been taking *useable* photos for the better part of 14 years, and creating videos for roughly 10 years (the good ole YouTuber days).
What happens if there’s bad weather on my session date?
I firmly believe that sometimes mother nature knows how to show her beauty in the most unexpected ways. Safety is my number one priority, so I am totally down for continuing our session so long as we aren't looking at a blizzard or hurricane. I'm a go with the flow kinda gal, so if the weather says rain and you're down to try something crazy, then let's make magic!
What’s your cancellation policy?
I understand first hand that life happens! Though I do require a non-refundable deposit, I will always honor it going towards your next session (within 2 months) if cancellation occurs at least 24 hours before your session time.
As much as I love what I do and can be very understanding, at the end of the day this is a business that puts food on my family's table.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of your session time will be subject to forfeiture of deposit.
Clients who arrive late will be beholden to their allotted time and extensions past that time will result in additional charges. If client is more than 15 minutes late with no correspondence, the session will be cancelled and deposit will be forfeited.
No shows will result in forfeiture of deposit and you will be required to pay another deposit upon rebooking.
WEDDINGS: Cancellation policy does not apply to weddings.
IF I HAVE TO CANCEL: This will only occur if there are situations outside of my control. At this point, I will refund your deposit and try my absolute best to find you a replacement (wedding) and get you rescheduled as soon as possible (if non-wedding).
